Robo Calls are illegal UNLESS you give them written authorization. Which you won't do, no one does. If they call your cell phone that is worth $1500 per call. If they call your home number, the first call is $500 and if they call again after you press one to get a rep to have them remove you from the call list. That is a $1500 call. They may use multiple numbers. Always press one to get someone on the phone. Play around and ask information. Then say this isn't something I need now, maybe later and ask to be removed from their call list. Then it is recorded. If they call again BANK that is a $1500 call. You would file a claim with your local courts. Contact a consumer attorney for details. Keep track of every call. Be sure to answer every call. If you don't answer you cannot verify who is calling. That is very important. Play stupid and ask what company they are with. That you didn't hear it when they called. Then get the reps name and extension tell them in case you change your mind later. But always end the call with please remove me from the call list. If I need your services I have bookmarked your website (if you got it be sure to get that) I will call. Be nice and you will get far on the call. Be rude and get nothing. Tracking the date and exact time for these calls is required. Put a note beside it saying who you spoke to and that you requested to be removed from the call list. If you only press #2 to be removed IT WILL NOT WORK. That just validates you have a working phone number. If by chance you miss a call and it leaves a message SAVE IT. That is proof of the call.and does wonders in court. Some people have collected up to $250,000 in court from these calls. Even if it is not a robo call and you tell them to remove you and if they don't, it is illegal. Get your number on the no call list. Search Google for NO CALL LIST. It takes about 6-weeks to get on it. Be sure to verify via email. While that doesn't stop the calls it makes it worse on the company that violates the list. Also, report all calls to the FCC Search Google for report spam calls FCC to find the site. Search Google for Robo Calls and Spam calls $1500 and you will find a lot of information. I have a list of over 200 calls that I am prepping for court. This is going to be a great year.
KEEP TRACK, ALWAYS ANSWER, NEVER PRESS ANYTHING TO BE REMOVED FROM THE LIST. SPEAK TO A REAL PERSON. GET AS MUCH DETAIL ABOUT THE COMPANY AS POSSIBLE. YOU WILL NEED THAT FOR COURT. OTHERWISE YOU WON'T KNOW WHO TO SUE. GOOD LUCK!
Oh and by the way, no company can guarantee #1 listings on Google or any other search engine. That includes #2, #3 and so on. That is entirely up to the search engines. No one can override that. You DO NOT HAVE TO PAY TO BE ON THE SEARCH ENGINES IT IS FREE. IT HAPPENS AUTOMATICALLY. Contact your hosting company if you have questions about optimizing your site for search engines or just search Google for details.
Cheers!
