Called my land line two nights in a row at approx. 7:30pm ET. Caller ID says OUT OF AREA, even though that's my area code. Both times I answer, they hang up. I blocked the number. Love that feature on my Panasonic phones!

I checked with ATT- after getting calls several days at different times I wanted to see who was illegally calling and hanging up. No such number is registered. Under NO circumstances should you answer.
