I just received a call from this (Florida) number. No message was left. The caller ID said "Unavailable." I am on both the State and National "Do Not Call" lists. After reading other people's posts here, I blocked all future calls from this number. Thanks, 800Notes!
They can be so hateful because they can be. These calls are nearly impossible to trace because the carriers (like AT&T, Verizon, and a bunch of very lesser others) are out of the prosecution loop. As for the actually caller, if he were tracked down, he would receive a lecture and slap on the wrist at best. Bring back the old days were this guy would have had his tongue cut out.
