Call came in on Sunday Feb 12, 2016 from 321-252-8290 at Rockledge, FL. Second call received in the evening, answered it this time, said nothing. Held on for perhaps 15 seconds, silence. I then said "hello". Apparently this triggered the automated recorded pitch to sell a product to cure the evils of a septic system. I held on, the automated pitch continued to "press 1 if interested in the product or 2 to be removed from their calling list." As my septic tank interior already smells like a rose, my obvious choice was 2. In the past 2 weeks, calls have come from 352-358-7175, Hawrthorne, FL; 213-342-1503, Los Angeles; and 267-825-7942, Los Angeles. None of these last 3 calls were answered. Checking on line, complaints appear for the last 3 calls, all related to a septic tank product. I am on the no call list, both federal and PA.
So what happens when you file a complaint? I filed one against Liberty Mutual with PA. Many weeks later I got a phone call from the PA Do Not Call, they simply called the company and told them not to call me. I was under the impression that a fine was to be levied against offending callers. Forget it!
Called and left a message regarding septic tank cleaning. I live in a metropolitan area served by a public sewer system, so these unwelcome solicitors are wasting their time as well as our answering machine space.
Called @ 12:45 today...On a Sunday, Really. I do not answer any unknown numbers! Wasting their time. Called my home phone. To many scammers out there. Let them keep wasting theIr time LOL..
