A very angry young woman called me from this number. She claimed to be from the law firm of Bailey and Associates. She was calling regarding a case against my dead ex-husband, she said I must provide a copy of his death certificate or they would continue to call me until I provided it. I reiterated that it was not my responsibility and that I did not want to be harassed about it. She called again (caller ID) and hung up when I answered, I guess to prove that she would continue to call me, against my wishes.
After making this post, someone called me from an "unknown" number. He had a heavy foreign accent and it was difficult to understand him, he said he was with a "law firm." When I asked which one, he hung up. He called back a minute later and when I asked again what law firm he was with, he said "Johnny Cochran" he kept asking if I wanted to them to press charges. I assumed he meant against these "Bailey" people, I said no, I just wanted them to stop calling me. Finally, he said they were going to press charges against me and have me arrested for not paying his debt. They tipped their hand - this type of harassment is either a scam or illegal. I know this is associated with the prior call, because how else would they have my phone number? He quoted what I had posted here - I didn't even use my last name, so how could he know my phone number, unless they were in cahoots?
lady called me and left a threatening message telling me that I was a co-defendant??? I called her back and told her I was recording her and she called me stupid and hung up????
Angry black woman called me. Giving me attitude about some person I don't know about. Told her I didn't know the person, have me attitude and hung up. Called back to ask to get my number remover, she yelled at me and hung up.
Someone called me concering my name from my first marriage and telling me she spoke to someone in my family saying I had 7 aliases and I've only been married twice and a maiden name that's three they gave a 1800 number at first said they where pressing invetagations and then another number called me back a area code 321 and didn't say who they where she just was very rude screaming at me and never once was professional they never stated they where a law firm that they said or that they where investigations she was loud and very rude
