Career opps saying someone from our # called with an inquiry...we did not!! ...call the number back and get the auto system to take you name off their list. I just did it. Was easy Sick of these damn freaking people calling all the time.
Continually receive calls from this religious cartoon sounding fanatic spouting the lord has told him to call me --- Well the lord actually told him to harass me for months on end, From various numbers 800-352-3407, 888-528-9548, 800-422-5590, 248-716-9624, 201-492-9181, 201-492-9176, 470-427-0530 and lastly 321-508-4569 these numbers all have the same recording of this benny haja, Yet when you answer no one is there, no responses to call backs etc, etc, etc. Been logging these numbers since Feb. 2015 and am 1/2 page of my 2nd single line sheet of 8.5 x 11 sheet -- Have not found a way to stop the calls unless I pay to have them blocked, then again which number do I block? This to me should be against the law - It's just plain harassment -- They've interrupted me at work numerous times, in the middle of conversations/meetings, at dinner time, on my sleep in day, driving down the road, family time and these calls are from earliest 7:28am up to 9:47pm -- You all need a new Call Type in the drop down religious beggar or breakdown telemarketer types donation hunters, services offered, I supposed requested, etc, etc.
Called the number back and James told me most people that return the call are interested in furthering their education for career. And, that he can see that I may qualify for this crap. Told him very calmly and courteously that I'm retired and have a Bachelors and not really interested in furthering my education at this time. The phone went dead. Another nuisance call from people that put up bogus jobs sites with the real motive to sell education programs.
I recently signed up for a job hunt on the internet and now I am getting all these calls. No doubt it was for a college or something. I said on the interview I was not interested in further education, that does not stop these jerks.
The same situation of Poly sign in in some Job career pages that apparently are sponsored by some Universities. Even I select that was not interested in studding they call me from all the States. Now they change the their story and now they are saying that they are calling from the SS disability programs which I applied. Sometimes I hang up the phone telling them they have a wrong number and sometimes they hang up after they " identified them self " . The phones never can be call back, either make a beep sound, a recording that the phone do not accept call, or a back ground music sounds.
