Called multiple times, typically no one is on the other end, due to the fact they use an autodialer and don't pick up the handset right away once the call connects. If you wait a few seconds someone will pick up and ask, "Hello is the manager there?" To which I reply, PLEASE, take this number off of your calling list.
As everyone else is saying, when or if you attempt to call the number back, there is a recording claiming "Were sorry due to telephone company facility trouble, your call can not be made at this time, please try your call again later." beep beep beep.
Idiots all of them! Someone needs to invent an electronic bullet that with verified phone scam numbers, pressing a specific button sequence like 666 can send an electronic blast that completely disables their routing device. Eventually due to costs of replacing equipment they will move on to other scams or just give up.
What really makes no sense, it's not like they make money from calling people and hanging up, unless its to verify there is a person on the other end, which they collect those numbers only to sell that information to marketing companies wanting to call actual human beings that answer the phone, just for the opportunity to sell something.
Received this number on our business land-line. Has happened multiple times. Rings 2 - 4 times and hangs up. When answered nobody answers. When the number is called back, it plays an audible error message mentioning telephone rules.
Calls received in San Diego.
They keep calling and hanging up. Very annoying for my business. They called 4 or 5 times today. We tried to call the number back. A recording said there was telephone company facility trouble.
