Contacted by someone that said they were with Team Viewer whom said that our computer was being attacked and that it wasn't protected and that they could help us. They asked us to go to computer and fixed a few things and charged us a 199.00 for a year of service on our Visa card. He also learned that we had a new laptop and that we needed to get protection on it to and we told him we weren't ready and maybe later. Then he harassed us daily even after several times of telling him that we didn't want to do it sometimes as much as 8-10 calls a day. Despite what we said he continues to harass us constantly. This man was of mid-eastern decent and tonite we had another caller whom identified himself as being from the Department of "something" I couldn't understand and when I asked he would try to say it again to me so fast that I couldn't understand what he was saying and HE had a mid-eastern accent as well. Said he wanted to refund our 199.99 from back in September for some thing which I couldn't understand either. I asked him to speak with someone whom I could understand better and he just hesitated and then started talking again, did this several times when I told him he would just have to call back in a few minutes to talk to my husband and he said then OK but never called back and wouldn't give me his number either. We find out noew that we have been SCAMMED and almost again tonite . PEOPLE watch who you are talking to, these people are slick, they think. Ask questions, many many questions, PROTECT YOURSELF! REPORT any suspicious calls!
