This number has called me numerous times offering me a payday loan. When I called it back and told them I did not want to be contacted, the foreign man proceeded to use profanity and threaten me.
Just got a call from this # saying I had applied for a loan - I never applied for a loan and they would not tell me who. It was an asian guy and said the for cancelling the loan I would be charged $50.00 and that they could take it directly out of my account. What gives...
It's a known scam. If you haven't given out any information (credit card number, bank account, etc.) the chances are you can ignore this can future calls like this. You would be wise, though (actually, everyone would be wise) to check credit card balances and bank account balances regularly, to be sure there isn't some scam draining money from your accounts.
If you pay bills online especially with a debit card, it's a good idea to check balances every few days. Call me paranoid, but part of my morning routine, before reading the news, is to check balances.
Twice I found illegal charges against my debit card account, amounts over $100 both times. I contacted the bank the same day, put in a claim, and had my money returned within a couple of weeks.
I got the same call . I have not done and business with them , you tell them to stop calling but they continue to . I got on here to find out my own information I am glad i did i was thinking about it but i should have know it was to good to be true. A friend of mine told me to Google the number and see what information I could find before I make this decision . i am so glad I did. If someone offers you something and it sounds too good to be true it normally is.
