This number is indeed from Banker's Insurance. My resume is posted on Monster and Careerbuilder. Based upon what I have read here I am not returning the guy's call.
Banker's Life Recruitment for insurance careers. They seem to ask for a lot of personal information(none of which I chose to give) yet offer very little regarding the company.
This number is a guy sending out cold calls for Bankers Life and Casualty. Its an insurance sales company that has been reported throughout the internet as being scammy. They blanket job sites and pick out random resumes.
The spam e-mails have been coming in from, what I can imagine, is my resume (after posting it to CareerBuilder). The sudden influx of spam coupled with this phone call lead me to believe that Joseph is correct, and that my number was randomly taken from my online resume. Guess you can never be too careful where you post things!
I did not answer this call, so I can't know for sure if it was them, but I imagine it wa-... actually, just as I was typing this note, they called back! Didn't leave a voicemail, of course. Two calls from the same number, back to back. Ooo, but this time they left a voicemail...
*listens to voicemail*
Gregory Perez from Bankers Life and Casualty in Orlando. They came across my resume, and they wondered if I was "still looking for a position". Didn't say what the position was or any other details, just to call them back at the number listed on Caller ID (321-354-1838).
They probably want me to sell things. Not interested! Their website (bankers.com) sucks, and looks like a fly-by-night style of marketing, so yeah... definitely the same as Joseph
