I had a ring for sale got a text from this number...the text resembled lauguage not typical of an american..told me she was getting the ring for her daughter and would send money through paypal. Money never showed up in my account. Called pay pal they had no record of transaction related to her sending money. Typical case of fraudulant activity, going to warn authorities. Even sent me 2 fraudulant pay pal invoices. Told me to send ring and enclose a nope saying "Happy birthday my angel love mom"! How disheartening....
Just had this number text about a phone not even 10 mins after it was posted on a for sale site in my town.
Said they were from the area but for safety reasons needed to use pay pal and that I "Mail" the phone to a different address for their sons birthday.
