I first recieved a call from these idiots telling me i did not pay a loan back. they said they would take me to court, have me arrested so all my neigbors could see. I asked them for them to send me a paper contract and they said they couldn't. I received a second call at my work. They again said to pay the money of I would be taken to court. This guy gave a name as Joy barnes. And I call them back and the other guy said his name was Fauker. This Joy told me to write them a letter stating i have no intention of running away with the money and I want to take this out of court. Please accept my payment of $589.32, They were both foreigners and I could not understant them. I called them back and asked for an address and they gave me 122 broadway New York Ny.
I have recieved calls from this number and 321-445-4135, claiming that they were Officer somename, can never understand, from the Financial Crime Division. He stated that my SSN and address was on hold with the Gov and they would take further legal action if I did not return their call. When they call, the number is always blocked, but they leave a call back number. I have already made a report with the FTC, and will add this number to the report as well. If you are contacted by these people, I would say contact the FTC and file a report, they will compile evidence against them and hopefully catch these people. From some of the research I did, they have already scammed many people and have stolen MILLIONS of $. Do NOT give them your personal information!
In the past week I have received several phone calls from this number. I had to have major surgery and I was out of work for several months. They scared my coworker so bad she had another coworker call me at home to tell me that someone from that number called and identified himself as an officer scrofton and that I had been involved in an illegal scheme and I would be immediately arrested if I did not call him back. He also called my daughter and my best friend saying that they had to call him back immediately because they were references for me on some matter and they would be arrested also if they did not call him back. I called them back and they would not give me a address but told me that on Monday I would be arrested immediately after they went to the Court House to file for a warrant for my arrest to bad nobody told them Monday was a labor day holiday and the Courts are closed. I just don't respond to them because I know that they are not legitimate. However if anyone knows who these people are or has an address for them I would sure like to have it so that I can take this up with the proper authorities.
Oh I am going to have to remember the holiday one...that was all to good. These people will continue to pop up every once in awhile. If you had a payday loan or another kind of online loan they get the information somehow from that. Start asking questions and tell them that your state attorney generals office will be happy for this additional information.
I have found that the more questions that you start to ask them the more they get frustrated and you can hear the temp rising in thier voices. Also, just tell them to do whatever they have to do but you are not going to give them any information or anything else without written documentation. They don't like it when you start to turn it back on them. They seem to go away for awhile and then come back so once you think that they are gone just keep in the back of your head that they still might be out there.
It would be a good idea to call your attorney generals office and find out what if anything they can help you with.
I received a call from this number stating that it was time sensitive and that my social security number and my address were on hold with the government. You could not understand what his name was and you could barely understand what was being said but he did say further legal actions would be taken if I did not contact them.
The person calling from this number said his name was Allan, he called my place of work and told them it was an emergency and he needed to reach me right away that it had something to do with "the lawsuit" The woman (Patty) at my work told him she would take his number and give it to me. Patty told me the phone did not sound right at all and told me to contact the FTC. Now just a few months ago a officer Williams called my work and you could hardly understand him. He called my house one morning at 5:30am so I told him to stop calling me and my work. Haven't heard from him again now I have this Allan person calling. Just tried to call him and got message "the person is no longer on the line"
