This is a scam. The company name is CFG&Associates from Boca Raton, Fl. The addres i was given by some guy named Dave is 1489 West Palmetto Park Road Suite 350 Boca Raton, Fl 33486. When you look up the address in Google Maps it does give a list of company names at that address, however this one is not listed. Funny right, well after alot of time on the phone with them yesterday I finally talked with a Blake Johnston who emailed me a BIF letter whatever that is and it looked like it was put together in Word very quickly. Alot of misspelled words and the address they had for me was incorrect. Doesn't look like any other Dept Collector letter I have recieved in the past. The reason I know there is something wrong with the letter is I ran it by an english teacher. The grammer is off and so is the spelling. Two things Im not good at.
Its called a payday loan scam, they call and say you owe money. If you have ever filled out info on the internet for one and had been denied, its because its a fishing site or ghost site that sells your info to highest bidder. Most of the time they might have all your info right or half right they never ask you to verify your info they have it allready. Please beware. Do yourself a favor and call the local police and speak with a detective from Boca Raton and make a report. The detective I spoke with yesterday said he will pursue this quickly.
