"Deborah" called from this number offering a free 5 night stay in a central Florida walt disney world good neighbor hotel valid for 18 months and said that it could be extended for an additional 18 months. Asked if I was over 25 and had a valid debit or credit card. Said only payment required was to prepay an alamo rental car for the five days. Put me on hold for more info and call disconnected.
Just rec'd my 2nd call from this #. I've not requested it. Maybe surveys I've done have given them my ph#????? - But I don't usually need to give my ph # So I'm really not sure why they are calling me.
And I don't live in Florida & if this is BellSouth - don't have it here.
Got two calls in succession from this number ... I never answer calls on my cell phone from numbers that aren't identified: their either wrong numbers or scams, which this is apparently. Others have said they are offering a free five-night stay at Disney World... but they ask for a credit card, so obviously it's a scam.
I have been tracking where these yahoos get my personal information and it seems to be from Publisher's Clearing House when they have you look at their exciting offers for you and then you mark no to all of them and the next thing you are getting calls in regards to those exact same offers you said no to. Also I use Inbox and they have a lot of 3rd party offers and when you click to see the offer and get credit for reading the inbox email it takes you to the 3rd parties site for their offer. I have downloaded software and it warns me not to proceed any further to the site because it is not safe for reasons as malware, spyware, unknown certification, phising sites etc. Better to not proceed and delete all emails from unknown sources. It's also best to not sign up for free samples because they also pass on your information. We no longer have a right to our privacy anymore. I think we should all become incognito and become fictitious people if they must have our information in exchange for the information we are seeking.
This number called me today and 1:11 pm. I did not answer. They did not leave a voice mail then they called back at 4:26 pm, did not leave a voice mail.
