sound like a scam. they call themselves auto warranty company. when i asked who they were representing, the call hung up. funny, i don't even have warranty with them. there is no info on the company, or other phone # to reach them, sounds like a shady deal from fl, like the ballot chads from the last election.
I just got a call from these people. It was a recorded message and I pressed 1 to speak to someone. I told him NONE of my vehicle warranties were about to expire and I want to be removed because I'm on the do not call list. He hung up in mid sentence. I have filed a complaint since Im on the do not call list

Yes, I got the call that "Your warrantee is about to expire. Press 1 to talk to an agent." The agent asked me the make, model and year of my car. I purchased my Honda in Dec 2007. I asked him if he was from Honda and he said he was the "Honda agent." I financed my new car and, as part of the finance fee, I'm paying is for the warrantee until 100,000 miles. I told him I have 5,000 miles on the car and he said, "oh there is some error, you have coverage until 36,000 miles." I said "no I have coverage until 100,000 miles; can you please confirm? Then he hung up on me! I think this is some scam to get people to buy some kind of warrantee program if their warrantees have expired.
