I know it's a scam because it is always the same foreign speaking guy but sometimes it's a woman always wants to fix my micro-soft problem. Just won't take no for answer. I always hang up after telling them I have my own IT
I received a call from 321-514-0954 at about 11:30 am. It was a man on the phone telling me that he's calling from online tech support and I need to log into my WIFI right now in order to stop someone from hacking into my computer. I asked him who he was, and he stated, "I'm calling from tech support." So I asked him what company and he said, "Microsoft I told you that." So I advised that I didn't. He said that when I updated my Microsoft that they received the errors and that someone was trying to hack into my computer right now. So he said that I need to sign into my WIFI so he can fix the issues now before I have problems. So of course I asked what state he was calling from and he said TX. I know that this is a complete scam and of course he had a hard time speaking English. Go figure. Anyone can fake call someone. I told him that if I have issues that I'll take my computer to my IT guy to have it fixed, and he got mad and started to yell at me. He was yelling at me telling that I need to log into my WIFI NOW!!! I told him not to contact my number again and hung up.
foreign speaking woman called today from Microsoft tech support saying I have a problem with my computer. i asked her why she is calling me and she told me that I called in for support. I hung up. what ***holes.
A foreign speaking woman called today from Microsoft tech support saying I have a problem with my computer. i kept her on the phone for 40 minutes giving her all kinds of BS information and just kept playing along....then when I had enough I asked her how stupid do you think I am and I know your calling from India......she then hung up on me......lol
Just got a call. Same woman as always calling me "sir". Generic term in India I think for men and women. Same old Tech. support bs. I said disgustedly "who is this calling"? She hung up...
