Got a call from them today, couldn't quite catch the name of who they were, but they knew my name, and email address. Said they were responding to my request for info about college, or education. I graduated college 31 years ago with a MS. They were polie, apologized and said they would remove me from their database.
Company is called Degree Match - not sure how they got my cell phone number. I returned call and spoke with someone and they said they would remove me from their list.
This number called me a while ago, and knew my email and then started asking me about college. I couldn't really understand the person so I hung up. But who are they?
Man was polite but he said he wanted to help me find a college. I just graduated and didn't sign up for anything. When I told him this he was a bit pushy and sayed he still wanted to match me with a local college. I said I wasn't interested. Seemed nice and spoke well English. But be careful could be a scammer.
