This call is from Portfolio Recovery. Portfolio Recovery is a collection agency that specializes in purchasing old debts from companies who have been unable to collect the debt themselves.
They must be starting again. They called at 8:30 this morning and didn't leave a message. Didn't bother trying to find out who it was after seeing this site.
Three days they have been calling now and I practice the theory that if they cannot ID themselves and only a city exists on the Caller ID, I do NOT answer. Scam artists and bogus fundraisers are at the top of my list for those who should be the victims of air horns when someone does pick up the phone to answer their calls. Just sayin'.
Sounds like http://fastinc.org/contact-us/ who still do not show an "OPT OUT" on their website. They are telemarketers so they do know what the "Do Not Call List" is.
