Since I don't answer calls that I don't recognize, I don't know WHO it is! I was hoping maybe somebody here might know..... Plus, it was on my cell, and it didn't
have the normal caller ID---just the number.
This guy said he was from the center from decease
Control and wanted information about my children
in the house and if they were vaccinated. Called at 8:15 pm est. Black man.
Appeared legit?
Centers for Disease Control (CDC) doing survey on kids vaccinations. Asked "qualifying questions" Any kids living in home under 4? No. Any under 18? No. Disqualified. Was a black woman who was obviously working off a computer screen. She was carefully reading each question, entering my response and then waiting for the next question to prompt her from the CRT. This woman was urban black - some accent but totally intelligible, followed the script perfectly, likely heavily supervised.
I could not verify the number called from (no caller ID) and the person represented herself to be working FOR CDC but was not CDC. CDC IS conducting surveys see: http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/imz-managers/nis/about.html
Conclusion: high probability they are legit but caller ID would help.
CDC is a very good group, does very good medical research for the health of the entire country. Suggest cooperation.
