GOT A CALL ABOUT LOWERING MY INTEREST RATE TO 6.9 PERCENT AND THIS SHOULD BE CONSIDERED MY LAST NOTICE. SELECT 1 FOR MORE INFO SELECT 2 TO STOP FURTHER CALLS. SELECTED 1 TO SEE WHAT IT WAS ABOUT SINCE NO CREDID CARD COMPANY IS IDENTIFIED IN THE CONVERSATION. TOLD THE GUY WHO ANSWERED I THOUGHT THEY HAD THE WRONG NUMBER AND WHAT BANK OR CC ISSUER THEY WERE CALLING FROM. I WAS ASKED IF I HAD ANY CREDIT CARD DEBT. I TOLD THEN KNOW THEY THEY ABRUPTLY HUNG UP. FISHING SCAM? I THINK SO .....
I received a call yesterday on my cellphone from a company stating that they could lower my interest rate by 6%. It starts off as a recording, #1 to speak to a representative, #2 to be taken off of the list. Out of curiosity I pressed #2. A man answer and started to give some long speech. I stop the man in his tracks and asked him which of my credit card companies was he calling from. he said that the company serviced all credit card companies. I then asked him for the name of the company. He said the United Debt Aid. When I asked for a phone # he hung up on me. My caller id says he called from Florida, 321-779-3962. My sister got a call from the same company for several days from the same company on her cellphone. She finally cursed the woman out and asked for a supervisor. The woman told her that she wouldn't be speaking to a supervisor and called her a [***]. The # they called from was 407-207-0820. This is definitely a scam!
I get these calls all the time about lowering my interest rates and that this might be my last chance. Cant seem to stop all this garbage from coming into my home.
received a call today on my cell phone -they said the warranty was up on my car and then they asked for my make and model - when I said "no you may not have it" - the person on the other line mimicked me.
