Received several calls from 321-785-7001 indicating I was being sued by I.R.S. and admonishing me to call. Called # indicated, spoke with individual known as Repica Terry # ILN801562 case # CP96120 with heavy foreign accent. Gave false ID info, agent was able to miraculously able to find me and that I owed $9800.00 from 2009 through 2013 when in fact I had gotten refunds each and every year as result of business losses and student loans. Kept agent on the line for 12 minutes till she got tired of answering my questions. Asked if she had a green card she indicated yes. As a result of being a retired from NYPD I know I.R.S. does not contact individuals in such a manner. I just attempted to get info which I have listed above. Local Sheriff's office told me it was a scam however there was not too much they could do with it
Call received from "Unknown". I didn't answer. Left a message saying I was being sued by the IRS. I was to call 321-785-7001 to get my case #. I will NOT be calling that number. I am pretty sure it is a SCAM.
3217857001 has started calling ever day threating they are from irs..and I was going to be sued..been retired for years so I guess if its irs they have waited a few years to long.
