Received a call. Offered to rent out my RCI bonusweeks for 2100 a week. Called RCI, no bonus weeks in my name.. They just wanted me to pay 1800 in advance. Just another scam, as unforunately almost all tele marketing is today.
I forgot to mention the person said they would pay $2100/week for each bonus week I gave them. "All" I had to do was pay them either $1800 or $2800 up front and give them 90 days to pay for the weeks. The focus was I needed to act fast - pressure can cause poor decisions. No thanks!
They will want YOU to rent YOUR timeshare. What is wrong wth this picture???
1. They offer you what sounds like a greate deal to make money renting your timeshare.
2. They don't actually have to rent your timeshare and they still take your money for their "services". They now have access to your account to do with what they please.

Promised to rent out my timeshare if I paid money up front. Said that they own Westgate Resorts in Florida. Very, very pushy! Identified themselves as Premium Timeshare Exchange. When I told them I thought it was a scam, they had me go to the Better Business Bureau website where they had an A- rating. However, I know they do not own Westgate Resorts! They got very upset when I did not go through with the deal.
