Unknown caller from Florida...called it back and got a message saying "you've reached a non-working number." Really? Then how did I just get a call from them?
I also called the number back. The caller called at 10:30 a.m.. I answered with hello twice. There was no answer. I hung up. I then called the number back twice, once using the direct number, and the second time, using the prefix , I, before entering the number. Both times I received the recording that the number was not in service. Nevertheless I performed a star 57 trace and then reported the number to the Do Not Call List. My guess is that this caller must be some kind of nut. If any nut calls me who is a friend of my mother's, my mother usually calls me in an in vain effort to prevent me from tracing the call or reporting the nut. I got a call from my mother right after I performed a star 57 call trace. However, this call may not be a caller with whom my mother is in communication, and could be just some other kind of nut, prankster, robo-caller, solicitor or someone else. However, I feel confident that one of these days, the various pranksters , nuts, and other undesired callers will be caught and prosecuted if enough people report their nuisance calls.
Please, I do not want any more calls from this number. This is my business number, and I will not be responsible for anyone that has nothing better to do but call people about a free trip. Do not recognize this number. Stop calling me!
I have seen this number several times on my cell phone. The call says it is from Florida. I never call a number back if I don't know who is at the other end. I entered the number on Google and came up with this site. Thanks to all the people who leave the info about these scammers. Much appreciated.
