Received call on cell phone that my debit MasterCard had been locked. Don't have one, so I knew it was a scam. Hung up and called the number 323-200-1212 from caller id. Message stated "the person you are trying to reach is not available." What an idiotic ploy. Haven't they heard of caller id? If you see the number, just hang up.
I just got a call from 323-200-1212 on my cell phone which I ignored. Then the same number called my home phone. So, it knew both of my numbers. So, I answered the house phone call and got a recording saying my first source bank credit card had been locked, told me to press one and then directed me to enter my credit card number. I don't have first source bank anything, so I thought they had the wrong number and was going to connect to a customer service agent to let them know. But when I called number back, it went straight to some voice mail, no place to leave a voice mail, so I did a reverse phone number look up online, it says it is a cell phone in Los Angeles California. No way a single cell phone number is for a credit card company. Total scam. I could have paid 99 cents to see who the number belonged to. Maybe I should and harrass them lol.
Received a automated call saying my debit Mastercard was locked; didn't but called the above number and it went to voice mail. Message also said when I let it play further that it was from Woodforest National Bank, which we have here.
