It is a scam from Axis insurance Company. They called, instead of picking up I went and googled their information and came up with this. I called back and asked to be taken off of their call list because I am on the Do Not Call Registar and if they don't I will be reporting them to the BBB. I was hung up on. I called back again and a manager picked up the phone, I don't know about you, but a manager never picks up the phone! I humored it and sayed the same thing. He said to me, "well, when was the last time you filled out car insurance quaotes online?" I said we haven't for over 3 years and we're happy. Then he tried to say, "well, did someone else in your household do it?" and I said "nope, just take me off of your list" He put me on hold came back asked for my name, put me on hold again, came back and said ok you're not on the list I can't find you, must have been a misdial. I said, you guys use an automated machine right? Well, the machine didn't misdial only once, it will do it again so find my number and take it off! He said "ok, ok, fine you're off" I said, you didn't even ask for my number!" Then he stated my number back to me and then hung up. I don't think they wilol be taking me off from the sounds of the guy. If they call back, I'm keeping my word and reporting them.
