As soon as I picked up the call I got a recorded message congratulating me on winning 2 free cruise tickets to the Bahamas, and all the scammers wanted was for me to participate in a survey. "Press 1" to participate, or "Press 9" to decline and have your number removed.
I probably should have pressed 1 and thrown out a whole bunch of bogus information at them for the lulz, but I pressed 9. I doubt it will do anything other than let them know they got a "live" phone line, though.
If I get more of these calls, I'll post an update.
Called, didn't answer, and when I called back it went straight to voicemail...which is full. BLOCKED. (PS I'm also on the National Do Not Call List - little good that does.)
Just called at 7:50 p.m. mst. Not the first time. Didn't leave message. Returned call, said vm full. Obviously a cell. Other boards say it is a scam saying you have won a all expenses paid cruise.
They have been calling my house phone non-stop for over 20 minutes now. Every 30 seconds the phone rings from this number. It is a recording for some cruise thing. I don't know how to make the calls stop. It's past 9:30 at night and the phone keeps ringing over and over and over again.
