This is the first time I got a call from 323-281-1438. All it says on my caller ID is that it's from CA. With calls that I don't recognize, the first time they call, I will say hello just one time, and then listen until they finally hang up. If this number comes up again, I will pick up as if I'm going to answer, but instead of saying hello, I'm going to hang up on THEM! Eventually, I won't even pick up at all. That will teach them, lol. I need to check the National No Call Registry to make sure that my phone numbers are still registered. If so, I'll make a formal complaint through them.
Replying to my own post: I guess because of the Government Shutdown, the National Do Not Call Registry is not up and running at this time. In other words, I guess these scammers and telemarketers can do whatever the hell they want right now.
