Received a voicemail stating its was the "Final Notice regarding a lawsuit filed against me by the IRS". I called the IRS to report and verify (but they're harder than hell to get ahold of) so I called back. They identified themselves as the IRS. I explained the voicemail they left me (to see if I could catch them in a trap) after which they asked me for my first as last name. I asked them to verify their credentials before I have personal info and they hung up. Called back and explained the previous call to the woman who picked up next and she hung up immediately.

Got a call from his number but didn't answer because I did recognize the number. After reading other comments saying it is an IRS scam blocked number but I'm sure they will try again from a different number. The IRS never, never calls the taxpayer. They will send written communication to have you call them.
