Recorded message saying "we regret to inform you your Chase Visa Debit Card has been locked". Caller ID only said Los Angeles, not Chase. Call came to my cell at 10:30pm and woke me from sound sleep. I blocked them and will now check with Chase to see if this was a scam.
See my post above. Trying to getting anywhere with Chase customer service is a joke. Impossible, actually. So I blocked my number using *67 and called the 323 number listed above. Now the scam becomes clear! A recorded message says "to reactivate your card, enter your 16 digit card number". Anyone stupid enough to fall for this?
They called me at 4:30am. It is an automated dialer saying it is Chase Bank Security and your card has been locked. You are supposed to enter you debit card number to unlock. Do they really think we are that stupid?
