Received a call last night around 9:15 CST, telling me that my credit card was suspended and asking me to enter the number to have it released. I did not enter it. It didn't give any information about what company it was calling from so I figured it was a scam.
Add me to the list of people this number is trying to scam. Mine also was the "Your card has been suspended. Please press 1..." (hung up at that point). Hopefully no one falls for this phishing attempt.
I received a call from this number (323-244-2124) at 4:15pm EST which told me that my Mastercard (credit card) was suspended and asked me to enter my card number to have it released. I DO NOT have a Mastercard, my credit cards are different types of cards. So as soon as I heard the automated voice mention Mastercard I immediately knew this was some type of scam. I did not give any information. Random calls like this are not consistent with how legitimate banks operate.
