I just got a call this afternoon from "wireless caller" using the presumably-spoofed cell phone number, (323) 273-6790 (now permanently blocked). I have been aggressively blocking several dozen landline-based spoofed phone numbers to the point that this scammer has now resorted to using a wireless phone to call and annoy me at home. Probably from some type of wireless burner phone that murderers like to use that can't be traced back to them.
No message left. I called the # & it said voicemail full. This started the day after I set up an account at walmart.com, not sure if it's related, but I don't like coincidences. I have gotten one call every day since then from this # and one other.
They said my name and I asked who it was. The person said their name was Johnathan and then asked if I was going to be home at 3pm at an address I don't live at. I told them that. This person said they were from a home center and would I be home. I said I don't live at the address they said I did. That I live in an apartment and don't need a home center. Then I hung up.
