Stephen Conner with the number (323) 283-8198 who had a strong accent from department of legal affairs at US Treasury saying there had been a mistake on my moms tax return from 5 years ago in the year 2012. It's 2015. Asked if we got mail but he havent. Told that police had come twice and no answer, there is always someone home. And that police are coming to get her if she doesn't clear this up. And basically asked for $4k.
Claimed they were "Department of Legal Affairs" of US Treasury; Inspector Steven Connor (with Indian accent) said there was a warrant out for my arrest due to delinquent taxes and tax fraud in 2012 for the amount of $4,750.21. Said officers had come to my place four times to deliver documentation in October 2014 and January 2015, and left a notice on my door. When I said I never got anything, he said the warrant could be stopped if I filed a 1099C FORM and transferred me to an "IRS Agent" - Inspector Kimberly Jones (again with an Indian accent). At this point, I wanted to see how this played out. "Agent Jones" said I could file the 1099C FORM and in order to validate the filing, I had to send a MoneyGram for the amount, and she wanted my cell phone number so she could call me while I was at the bank and give me instructions on how to send the MoneyGram. That's where I told her "no way" and hung up.
