i got a phone call from this number for computer problems they fix my computer and my computer is running fine and i am happy with the support they have provided it to me so please co-operate with them.
Have had 'Windows Service Centre' call before and tell me my Windows computer was at risk...I don't even use a Windows computer. Call was from a withheld number. Today they called again. It was the same 'company'. When asked they gave this number. Not going to try ringing it back though! Searches on Google show it as being a scam.
If you don't know what it is they are asking you to do (ie opening programs or typing commands that you don't know) then don't do it.
I got a phone call from this company about computer services. This is a scam and is being investigated by the Federal Trade Commission. They are hacking into computers via third party remote viewers and stealing Identity information. The names of the people who wrote about this company before me such as Jack Watson, Lorence Anthony, and especially Bob Rawlings, are fraudulent and actually members of the company in question. The name I am using is actually one of the fraudulent people calling from said company. Beware of this company and their calls. Do NOT allow them to access your computer in away way at all. I am going to leave a link proving my allegations correct.
I received many phone calls from the number today. The man kept informing me he was with Windows 7 support team, and that there have been several complaints that I have been downloading malicious files from facebook and youtube. I use this computer for work. I then told him I would need to call him back so I could get a contact number. I called back and hung up to see if there was a recording or any kind of verification. Negative. I then googled the number and found this page. When he called me back I threatened BBB and the Police and hung up. I then received another phone call from them from a "Bruce" I continuously expressed if he didnt not leave me alone, and if there were any further phone calls BBB would be contacted, and the Police will be involved. He then asked if I would like to speak with the police, because he had a police officer right there. The woman could not even give me her name, or her position/badge number. She mumbled and handed back the phone to Bruce, once again I had it out with him and made him understand that the BBB and Police would be involved, and he was not to contact me ever again. He then told me he would contact me everyday, just because he liked the sound of my voice. Disgusting. I filed a police report, the number was traced to a landline in CA..but no further information had been made available at the time. Be smart people..please do not give into these idiots. Do your research first before ever doing what is requested.
