Same deal. This number, or similar numbers, call me all the time. I never answer, and they never leave a message. I've blocked this number, but I'm sure that I'll get another call from a similar number soon. It's never ending!
Because telemarketers now "spoof" the numbers they're calling from. The number you see on your caller ID is rarely the number the telemarketer is actually calling from. They illegally spoof other numbers so that the government doesn't know the real source of the caller. Yes, believe it or not, our lousy telephone companies and government haven't figured out how to stop spoofing.
