Just received call from an Indian accented speaking man. Stated his name was "John Ray". Stated my IP address is being used for "illegal purposes", wanted me to type in search box "www.supremocontrol.com" Stated he was from Microsoft windows support from 323-316-2383. I did not cooperate with his dictates and stated I had to go and please do not call back. This is about the 6th call in a two week period that I have received and they just keep calling. Next time I think I will tell him I do not won a computer as the previous writer stated.
The Middle Eastern people said they were from Microsoft and took $299 from a friends credit card and hacked her computer and she had to spend additional $200 to get it fixed.
SCAM!!! This call came from a man with a heavy Indian Accent , claiming our home computers have been hacked. He said he was with Microsoft, I asked him to prove it by giving me the IP address to the computer of mine he claims was hacked. THE CALL WAS PRIVATE CALLER, we asked for his # to call him back... He then give us this number 323-316-2383. He wanted us to pay him to fix our computer issues over the phone!! WE KNEW THIS WAS BOGUS FROM THE GET GO!!
