I received a call from 408-587-2138 claiming to be Card Services and representing Visa and MasterCard in an attempt to help me lower my interest rates.  They ended up getting one of my account numbers for me (for verification) and I specifically said "you won't ask for my expiration date or cvc code, right?" and they said "right".  After I gave my account number, I was transferred to someone else who asked if my home phone number was xxx-xxx-xxxx and I said "yes". He then said he needed to verify it was me and needed to call me right back.  He called back from the number listed in this report 323-319-2205.  The first thing he asked for was my expiration date!  I hung up at this point and called Visa.  

Visa told me they never call people and recommended that I put an alert on my account, which I did.  There haven't been any fraudulent charges yet, but it's only been 30 minutes
