Amber Hughes at 323-325-8740 called my office, left a message asking about "company serving policy" since they "couldn't reach me at my house". funny considering there is someone who is always home (my wife is home 24x7). Called the number left by the original caller w/ my front desk at work. Got a switchboard for “ARS” which is located in “LA”. I demanded legally identifiable information, which is required under the FDCPA, and the person on the other end started yelling “I don’t have to give you any information. What is the case number, your SSN and last name”. I told him that I don’t have that information to give him, and won’t give him any information till they legally identify themselves. When I threatened to sue them for harassment he hung up. I called again, got similar with the second person who eventually after screaming and yelling telling me they don’t call about serving people, he transferred me on to another very rude person who did nothing but demand my mother’s maiden name, my SSN, my age, my name. When I gave him a fake number and nothing more he then screamed at me “I have your last 4 of the SSN and your number, that’s all I need” but I blocked my number on calling them…so they didn’t have it. I put him on speaker phone, and said while on hold “idiot doesn’t have my number, it’s blocked. watch how fast he comes back and demands more info” which to nobody’s surprise was right then to scream at me “Give me your mother’s maiden name now”. I told him “Identify your company and DO NOT YELL AT ME A**H**E!!” to which he promptly hung up. Scammers right here…would love to see them serve me at work if they are a legal company.
