Five calls from this number over the past week. Two had CLID of "Sierra Club", three were "unavailable". In all cases, my machine picked up and they did not leave a message. I have no old bad debts, and we have contributed to the Sierra Club in the past, so I'm assuming that is who it is.
Get at least one call daily from this number ... been going on for a few weeks now. They never leave a message... just hang up as soon as the VM picks up.
This is NOT Sierra Club, it a scam. Sometimes they claim to be AT&T. Sometimes the caller ID just says "UNKNOWN". Block this number & complain to the "no call" list. You are on it, aren't you?
BillG, of course I'm on the DNC, but (if this really is the Sierra Club) they are exempt as a charity/non-profit. I'm blocking it, they have been calling about once or twice a day for weeks now. I never answer, of course. I NEVER answer any unknown/unavailable type CLIDs, if it's important they can leave a message.
You'd think that after about three weeks of no (human) answer, they would give up regardless.
