This company called us regarding our coy machine toner and that they supply our toner and the cost was going up from $500 to $600 dollars.  I told them that our toner comes through  copy machine and to not send that order.  When I told them to hold that order and don't send it, they hung up on me. I called my copy company and they said that is a SCAM and they make these random calls to clients.  When I called this number back it just rang and then went to a busy signal.  They also called me on a 1-800-235-1000 number, but when I called them nobody answered.  They wanted to send me a toner cartridge through the mail and I assume charge my company, but I did not give them any information, but my address.

Same here... I asked why they were calling me from a California number and he changed the subject reaaaally fast... the next day the "shipping department" called to confirm some info and knowing this was a scam I told them to cancel the order... just now, the original "rep" called to see if everything was ok with my copier since I had cancelled. When I told him that he wasn't Konica Minolta he just hung up on me...

Called and said "we are sending out the new manuals and need your copier model" and I have experienced these scams before and i will say "ok just a sec" and put them on hold and never pick back up. DO  NOT GIVE ANYONE YOUR COPIER INFO, they will send you toner based on what model you have and try to send you really expensive supplies. The company you rent from when knows what model you have. If you do give out your info by mistake monitor your deliveries and refuse packages you don't recognize!!!!!!

These low life scum will not give up.  They have been at it forever.  When they call, I always know it's them because they ask for the model number on "the copier".  We have more than one, so that's the tip off.  Usually I tell them, "You're not scamming me today." and then I hang up.  I used to string them along, making up random model numbers like "Oh, it's a Pitney Bowes CTS-V" (a CTS-V is Cadillac) and wait for them to look for it in their computers.  Typically they call from behind private numbers that you can't trace.  I find that telling them I'm on to them keeps them at bay.
