So tired. I promise every call I block. Yet they keep calling. Sometimes 5/ 10 times a day. Do not call list is a joke

callers are criminals.  Since when do criminals obey the law?  I know you think the Do Not Call Registry is a joke.  Perhaps you should educate yourself about what the Do Not Registry does and doesn't do.

Thieves are annoying criminals, keep calling but disconnects when you pick the phone, what's their purpose?

To verify that your number is active. Which you confirm by picking up. If you don't recognize the number don't pick it up then Google it.
