Person claimed to be Jennifer Nettles when the person wanted to become my friend on Facebook. We started to get to know each other better and she claimed that she's going thru a divorce with her current husband because she claimed that he hit her and cheated on her. She then wants me to contact a security holding place that has a package of gold to have it sent to me so that she can come here to claim it so that her soon-to-be ex won't get it. I don't know if this is true or not since I never heard anything about Jennifer Nettles getting a divorce.
Well I can assure you that there is no gold, and that "Jennifer Nettles" is a guy in Nigeria or some other third world country. They will soon tell you that in order to get that nonexistent package you will have to pay them money, and then more money, and more money until you realize that you have been scammed or your bank account is as dry as the Sahara. Wise up and run away for this scam while you still can.
TMZ suggests that this is not that Jennifer Nettles. How much do you suppose you will have to shell out for taking care of the gold shipment? Tell her you are ready to proceed as soon as she signs a pre-nup and you meet the family. She needs to get serious or take a hike.
