Who called from 3233664638

SCAM ALERT!  Received a text from this number asking about my final price for a motorcycle I listed for sale on Bookoo.com.  Asked me to get back with them quickly through their e-mail [email protected].  After responding, they said the bike is for them and offered to pay full asking price, unseen.  Unfortunately they just left town and would not return for two months, but offered to pay full price through Paypal.  When I told them to call me or send me their number so I could call them, I received a response that they couldn't call because they are deaf.  I called the number and received an answering machine.  Obviously a scam as I just researched this and found this same scenario played over and over with different e-mails.

I just received An email from the same person about my vehicle listed on Bookoo. Said she wants to buy it as a surprise for her husband but she just left town last night and once the payment is cleared will send movers to pick it up and take care of necessary paperwork. Dealt with scammers on Bookoo before and so this was easy to pick out.

I received the same email from this person with the same email address about my car which was listed on Bookoo.  The emails is as follows: "Hi, Thanks for getting back. Can you assure me that it's in good state and that i will not be disappointed with it.I'm ready to pay your asking price and to be honest, i wanted to purchase it for my husband
as a surprise gifts from me. I'll not be able to come for face 2 face transaction or for picking it up because I've already left city last night. Am a very busy person and i will use PayPal to send the full payment into your account. I have a mover that will come for it once the payment has been clears and they will take care of very necessary paper for me. So i look forward to hear from you soon. Best regards."

I have actually been emailing back and forth to try to find out more info.  I live in Stuttgart, Germany and am under SOFA so my vehicle is registered on the Army base.  This means I have to follow certain rules when selling it to a NON-SOFA person.  I asked this person for her full name, address and phone number and she gave me info from the USA:
188 Wickham St. Columbus, GA 31907 and (513) 394-6561.  The address she gave me is not correct (it is Drive not street) and is near Ft. Benning.  According to Zillow this house was listed for sale back in 2012 but the listing was removed and it appears the house may be vacant.  Have not called the phone number yet.  After reading this I am now sure it is a scam but not sure how the scam works.  I will just rely on the fact I am not as smart as the scammers and leave it alone.

Second time I got the message below concerning my vehicle on Bookoo. The email was written almost exactly as the first one I received as the grammatical errors were identical. The first email I received a couple weeks ago was from a male. The email was first name and last name @ gmail.com although I can't remember exactly the accounts name. Diane Williams may be linked on gmail to other addresses through gmail's circles. Beware of this scam. It's obviously working because they keep doing it and don't even bother to change the email.


My name is Diane and am very much interested in buying your car which i saw on bookoo list forsale. Did you still have it forsale? Please kindly reply back to me as soon as possible and i will also want you to get back to me with the more picture of it.Thanks
