Finnaly I have solved the mystery. I called the phone number that has been harassing us. Guess who it is? It is the CCRC, Childrens Cancer Research Center and they are calling for donations. The National Do Not Call Registry will block it but it could take up to 31 days. If they call after that you can file a complaint with the National Do Not Call Registry. This is my final reply. The phone number belongs to Pac-West Telecomm located in Los Angeles. I always find these solitor numbers by google search so I can put them on my do not call list.
They have been calling me several times a day for over a month. I have caller ID so I never answered. They never left a message. This week it changed once. The message was "Come on Jim (my last name). We know who you are. Pick up the phone." Sound scary to me so am calling the police on this one.
This is to add to my previous message. I called the police. They said it was a collection agency & they probably think I owe them money. The telephone company toel me I call block residential phone numbers only but they cannot block business callers. Collection agencies have a right to call. The only solution. Get on the national do not call registry and also call the phone number 3233726327 and tell them to put you on their do not call list. Hopefully this will stop the constant calls.
