I received a text from a man stating he owned a home that was for rent on craiglist. I had emailed inquiring about it. Was taken back by the area code from which the text came. When I googled the address the rent was indeed way higher then what was listed on the ad. Obviously a scam.

The same person has sent me several text messages this morning claiming to have a couple of rental properties in Kona, Hawaii. No real info provided yet, but he sounds like all the other Craig's List scammers in what has been said. This person also tried to call me in the middle of the night last night, but my ringer was silenced and I only saw the missed call this morning. No message was left, but he started sending the texts.
