Text was from 'Steve' in response to a craiglist ad for a car. Was pressuring me to sign up for paypal so he could pay for the car that way. English slowly got worse and the conversation continued.
Same ol story. Steve is in Maxwell Airforse Base and cant send payment other then paypal yadda yadda yadda. Why does he insist on paypal? What happens after that?! Does he ever show up to pick up the item?!
This was not a call, rather I was contacted thru text. I was selling an ipad thru craigslist. "Tony" said that he wanted me to get a pay pal account so that he would be able to send me money for the Ipad. The scam here was that he was using his own fake paypal email to send me messages in regards to what steps to follow to get the money and for him to recieve the package. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM. His phone number is a google plus number and he is managing many different people at once!
