yeah they tried to get me to sell my truck and asked if i would do paypal and also said they were a u.s marine coming home from a peacekeeping mission. giant stack of [***] far as im concerned.
They texted me and said they saw my ad for my 4 wheeler online and wanted to buy it. the person said he was a marine and out of the country right now and wouldn't be able to come pick it up himself, but wanted to buy the bike for himself for christmas. right away i knew it was a scam. he wanted to pay me by using paypal. told me to give him my paypal info and he would have them send me an email verifying the money was in my account. I don't know why, but i decided to call this dush bag and see if he'd pick up the phone. the voice on the other end sounded like a middle eastern - he could barely speak english (some marine right?). don't give this fu**ing retard your stuff.
