This number came emailed to me via Craigslists. I have now gotten several of these type of messages. They are scammers. Please don't respond to them or call them. You will be sorry.

I have received a text from this number coming from a Mr. Honduras Williams. Offering a weekly pay of 400$. He sent me a check for 1950 minus 500 for me. The remainning 1450$ he instructed me to put it in the green dot card so he can get it. I deposited it and withdrew the 1450 from my bank the next day and did what he told me to do via text. After a couple of days all my money in the bank was gone. The bank said there was no fund in the check. This person using this number is a great scammer. At night I would received a call from the number I'm complaining about but the person was just listening to me. One time,it was a woman. Couldn't figure out what she's saying. Whoever did this, I believe if he won't get caught by FBI will be punished by karma. Much worst than hell. He took advantage of people like me,who is already in great financial problem. When I called the number it's a google subscriber.
Yes, even in the 21st century it can take 5 - 8 weeks for a check to clear your bank. Usually the name & address are correct, but the transit numbers at the bottom are fake. If this scam is thought out - the answer is always the same. Wire transfer. Western Union, MoneyPak, MoneyGram, GreenDot, etc. A wire transfer is NEVER to be used where you do not personally know the receiver of the money. It is NEVER to be used for any business transaction, or online purchase. You are sending CASH. That's CASH. Untraceable cash that can be picked up anywhere in the world. Nigeria, for example.
