Annoying calls from idiots in a call center claiming to be from the Criminal Investigations Department. Bogus call claiming I owe over $6000 in IRS takes (WRONG) and that there is an arrest warrant out for my arrest (LIE). These morons keep calling thinking I am some sort of simpleton who will fall for their FAKE NEWS! Beware of the ALTERNATIVE FACTS the bozo's on the other line will try to spin. It's a con and they are hoping to catch a fool willing to part with their money!
Electronic message that I was going to jail and to call this # to avoid legal matters. I called back and same thing as all of the above. And when I told him I was reporting him he started laughing. I hope he will not be getting the elderly, he DID ask for my credit card number right when he picked up and stated he was with the IRS.
Called this number back (after reading comments on this website) and gave the guy a fake number and fake zip code and he somehow pulled up my "lawsuit" anyway. Told him the call was [***] and the guy responded by saying "go [***] yourself [***]". So much for it being the IRS.
