Yeah, got a text at 2 a.m. wanting to buy my Harley now with a fast deal! What a scam.

I just got a text from 915-207-1562, saying to email [email protected] because they wanted to buy something I'm selling on craigslist. The name on the gmail profile is Stacey Donnell. Likely a scammer.

Glad I found these comments!!!  I am selling a western saddle in Florida on craigslist and received a text message from a [email protected] to respond to [email protected] from Stacy Donnell (she said she's from Texas) wanting my paypal acct. info so she could send me full payment. I emailed back asking some questions. It sounded like a scam. I did not send the info after reading the above comments.

Anytime you want to stop these scammers cold (the one's that want to use Paypal), just ask for their Paypal address & tell them you'll send them a Paypal invoice. One of two things will happen. Most likely you'll never hear from them again. But if they do send a Paypal address you can check it out online in your account on Paypal's web site. But since option #1 is going to happen don't worry about any extra work. Some of the scammers send fake Paypal receipts telling you the money is on hold until you ship the item. Not the way Paypal works.
