This number keeps calling me every 15 minutes , they say if I dont contact them I will be arrested. There are charges against my name and social security, failure to call them will lead to my arrest. You google there number and no name shows up only complaints. THIS IS A SCAM.... DO NOT RESPOND TO THEM. They can not speak english very well , if this was a true charge against you , you would have received a certified letter or an attorney calling you in your own home town. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS
I just received two calls from this number and they stated that there were criminal charges against me and that there was a warrant out for my arrest. They confirmed my address and email and said they sent me a letter with the details. They said I owed $7,500 due to me taking out a loan and using deceitful gimmicks to avoid paying back the loan. I advised to send me the letter because I did not receive and they said they were just calling me to let me know that the warrant was being sent to my home at this moment and that I should tell my employer what I have done.
Do not have anything further to do with them until you receive a letter via USPS that provides all the information required by the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (look up that law and download the consumers guide for it). They have already violated the law by falsely claiming there was a warrant for your arrest. Once a warrant is issued, you cannot stop the process by paying off the debt. Also, process servers do not call to warn you, they simply show up. If the letter they claimed to have sent was not sent certified or registered mail, there is no valid proof it was ever sent. Just another shady debt collector using illegal methods to scare you into paying. If you do have an unpaid Payday loan, contact the original lender to find out what is going on.
